Hello world!
My Name is Ly Syin. We moved to http://syinlysweblog.net When I was in High School I started writing to try and deal with my feelings. I wanted to write for the school news paper but my application was rejected. Instead of getting discouraged I became a staff writer for my church Central Baptist Missionary Church newsletter , “The Leadership” During this time I read an article in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch about Christopher Harris a young boy who was used as a human shield by a drug dealer. The article focused on Harris’s uncle being black , 40 and unemployed. These details had no relevance to the story. I was angered and wanted to make a difference. The Leadership staff encouraged me to pursue a degree in print media. I got distracted but I did get a Bachelors of Arts in mass communications. During College I wrote for Southwestern’s College student news paper, The Collegian. I also wrote for the Winfield Daily Courier. After college I worked briefly for Ponca City’s local television station KPOC. I became frustrated with news and went into the field of technology.
Now God has redirected me to my passion writing. As you can tell from this blog technology is still an interest of mine.
