Real help

I was very glad to read about actress Taraji P Henson adopting a family. The family she adopted had lost everything in Hurricane Katrina and then lost everything again when a fire claimed their apartment. Ms. Henson realized that just paying toys would not solve the problem she raised three months worth of rent for the family. That what people need to as we go into the holiday season and you want to give to the homeless give then something that will improve them. Be a real help. Don’t give toys when they have no where to put them.

When you give to charity this holiday season give to charities that empower. Investigate if they give toys that will be lost or do they provide a hand up.
